Welcome to Karathea.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of karathea.com, your purchase of Karathea products, and your use of related services.

Karathea is operated by Lepton LLC, a company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States.

By accessing our website, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. General Terms

Products offered through Karathea are intended primarily for personal use.

You may not use our website, products, content, or services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the website at the applicable time governs your use of the Services, subject to applicable law.

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, materials, dimensions, photographs, colors, pricing, and other information accurately.

However, colors and appearance may vary depending on lighting, photography, screens, devices, and the natural characteristics of certain materials.

We may correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and update product or pricing information when reasonably necessary.

Nothing in this section limits your rights where a product is materially different from its description or where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

3. Orders & Availability

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

Submitting an order does not require us to accept or fulfill an order where there is a legitimate reason not to do so, including:

• Product or inventory errors.
• Pricing or technical errors.
• Payment failure.
• Suspected fraud.
• Shipping restrictions.
• Misuse of promotional offers.
• Violation of these Terms.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.

4. Pricing & Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency applicable to your market or checkout experience.

We accept payment methods made available at checkout, which may include major credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, PayPal, and other supported payment methods.

Payments are processed through Shopify and/or the applicable payment provider.

Promotional codes, discounts, or offers cannot be combined unless expressly stated otherwise.

Eligibility requirements, exclusions, expiration dates, and other promotional conditions may apply.

5. Taxes, Duties & Import Charges

Applicable taxes, duties, VAT/GST, import charges, and similar fees depend on the destination and checkout configuration.

Where Karathea collects or includes such charges at checkout, they will be reflected in the order total or checkout information.

Where duties or taxes are not collected in advance, additional charges may be assessed by local customs authorities, tax authorities, or carriers.

6. Shipping & Fulfillment

Karathea uses a flexible fulfillment network.

Orders may currently be fulfilled from designated fulfillment locations in Mainland China or Hong Kong and may, as our network develops, be fulfilled from other locations.

The fulfillment origin may vary by product, inventory availability, destination, and operational requirements.

Shipping methods, rates, and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and described further in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Karathea is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Returns & Exchanges

Eligible products may be returned in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

Our standard return window is 30 days from delivery for eligible items.

Personalized, engraved, customized, gift-card, and Final Sale items may be excluded from change-of-mind returns.

These exclusions do not affect mandatory rights relating to defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or misdescribed goods.

8. Two-Year Limited Jewelry Warranty

Karathea provides a 2-Year Limited Warranty on Karathea jewelry purchased through our website.

The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered.

What the Warranty Covers

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that arise during the warranty period, including, where attributable to a manufacturing defect:

• Structural failure.
• Faulty clasps or closures.
• Defective settings.
• Stone-setting failure.
• Other manufacturing-related defects.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The Limited Warranty does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Scratches, dents, or surface wear arising from normal use.
• Natural tarnishing or oxidation.
• Normal wear or gradual fading of plating or finishes.
• Accidental damage or impact.
• Loss or theft.
• Misuse or improper handling.
• Failure to follow applicable jewelry-care instructions.
• Exposure to inappropriate chemicals or environments.
• Unauthorized alteration, resizing, repair, or modification.
• Damage caused by a third-party repair or service provider.

Natural variations in pearls, stones, metals, and other materials are not considered manufacturing defects where those variations are inherent to the material.

Making a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, contact:

Please provide:

• Your order number or proof of purchase.
• A description of the issue.
• Clear photographs or other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

We may request that the item be returned for inspection.

For an approved warranty claim, Karathea may, as appropriate and subject to applicable law:

• Repair the item.
• Replace the item with the same or a reasonably comparable item.
• Provide another appropriate remedy where repair or replacement is not reasonably available.

This Limited Warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict, or replace, any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Karathea name, branding, original website content, graphics, product imagery, logos, designs, written content, and other materials displayed through our Services are owned by or licensed to Lepton LLC unless otherwise indicated.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited, or used without authorization except as permitted by applicable law.

10. Third-Party Services

Certain aspects of the Services are provided through third parties, including Shopify, payment processors, shipping providers, analytics providers, and other technology or service partners.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lepton LLC and Karathea will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from or relating to your use of the Services or products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, guarantees, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Force Majeure

We will not be responsible for a delay or failure to perform an obligation caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.

Such circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, war, civil disruption, government action, transportation interruptions, customs disruptions, labor disputes, or widespread carrier or infrastructure failures.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, except to the extent that mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country or region provide otherwise.

Subject to those mandatory rights, disputes arising from these Terms may be brought before courts with jurisdiction in Wyoming.

Nothing in this provision prevents a consumer from exercising a right to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction where applicable law grants that right.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
